This time we will talk about hypertension or high blood pressure, what foods should be avoided / reduced as a way of preventing hypertension or stage of treatment.
Hypertension or high blood pressure sometimes many misunderstood by some people, some think that high blood mean to have more blood and how to cope with a blood donor or sleep on the floor so that the blood is reduced, of course, all of this is not entirely true. Indeed, the symptoms of hypertension can be caused by increased blood volume because of sodium (salt) in the body that can not be processed by the kidneys, sodium has the interesting property of water so if the body of excess sodium, the sodium content in the blood will attract water so that the blood volume has increased and likely to cause hypertension.
But hypertension can also be caused by a narrowing of the blood vessels, which are caused by bad cholesterol in the blood that clog blood path. Hypertension is a dangerous disease, so we should be vigilant. One of the complications of hypertension are stroke is a vascular disorder in the brain that occur suddenly.
Some of the foods that should be avoided / reduced consumption are:
• Instant Food
We know that the instant food was not healthy, especially for patients with hypertension. Many contain substances that are harmful to the body include a food preservative.
• Salt
The salt is good for health, yes it is nice just do not overdo it because the salt / sodium have interesting properties of water, which if excessive in the body can increase blood volume. Salt intake should not exceed 1 teaspoon a day.
• Foods with sugar and high fat
Sugar and fat are equally can lead to obesity which can lead to hypertension, sample food such as food bersantan, hash browns, bacon, etc.
• Alcohol
Well for this one all agree to be avoided of course, in addition harmful to the body.
• Caffeine
Caffeine is a trigger to raise blood pressure, so it is no wonder that we are more sleepy and then drink coffee, sleepiness seemed we were lost, it happens because our blood pressure rises, so that the organs of our body work harder and harder. Drinking coffee is not why it only needs to be limited no more than 2 cups a day.
